According to a recent research, it is concluded that speech, head injuries, stroke, brain and communication disorders are treatable as brain covers both sides of the brain. This study reveals that at a time only one side of the brain is used and there is a direct relationship between speech and brain activity.

The researchers focused on various parts of the brain during speech. The participants were asked to repeat non- words like “pob” and “kig.” This experiment brought to light that these non-words trigger brain activities which allowed the researchers to separate speech from language.

The results obtained through this research helped in the better understanding of the speech generation within the brain and also led to innovative techniques for the treatment of speech related disorders.
