Dangers of Carbon Monoxide:

This winter season is seen to be the coldest winter the world has observed after a long period of time. Temperatures in the next few years are also expected to drop more. The people using heaters need to very vigilant because the heaters give off a gas which is commonly known as the silent killer.

Carbon monoxide is present inside offices and houses because of the usage of heaters. It is a colorless and odorless gas with a chemical formula of CO. One might not be aware of its presence and the dangers it causes. The major symptoms of excess intake of CO include nausea and headache which is often misconcepted as a symptom of flu or viral fever.

Continuous exposure of CO can also result into various acute symptoms such as chest pain, vomiting, confusion and serious medical conditions.
