Neuroscience and Biomedical Engineering

Neuroscience and Biomedical Engineering are two research fields, but their inter-dependence and overlap are of obvious importance to many of us. Without the ever-advancing biomedical engineering technologies, neuroscience would not be what we know it today. And without the challenges and motivations from the neuroscience researches, biomedical engineering loses one of the major foundations for its very existence. Indeed, the solutions to many complicated neuroscience problems will involve highly coordinated and truly interdisciplinary research efforts between neuroscientists and biomedical engineers. This new journal is a platform that brings together scientists and engineers for a better understanding and efficient communication working on the rapidly growing research fields of neuroscience and biomedical engineering.
NBE is the official journal of the Institute of Complex Medical Engineering (ICME). The journal promotes the best interdisciplinary research in neuroscience and biomedical engineering. NBE welcomes contributions in any domain of neural and biomedical engineering ranging in content from practical/clinical applications through experimental science, technological developments to quantitative and/or statistical methodology discussions. NBE publishes the following article types: original articles, research reviews, and book reviews.

The goal of this journal is to establish a new forum for this interdisciplinary field so that neuroscientists and biomedical engineers can publish their research works in one periodical. NBE is devoted to bridge the gap between Neuroscience and Biomedical Engineering, and to foster the mutual understanding in both fields.
Bentham Science aims to publish eBooks in all major areas of technology, social sciences, medicine and humanities. Their eBooks provide professionals, corporate researchers, academicians, graduates and under-graduates globally with the most contemporary information in their subject areas of interest.
