The conventional drug discovery mechanism has been entirely changed by
the development of the drug designing field. The target based drug design is
more useful, long-lasting and practical.
The combination of structural information, thermodynamic data and
cheminformatics tools play an important role in the drug designing process.
The leading development in this field consists of High Throughput
Screening (HTS). It can be used to screen a large number of compounds for the
biological activities with the discovered targets which are produced by
combinatorial chemistry.

recommended journal in the respective field. Research Papers and review
articles have been published by CCHTS. Already 16 volumes of CCHTS have been
published and the journal has an impact factor of 2.0 as per journal citation
report 2012.
